Newark Township hosts many Historical Family Farms, and has very prime agriculture soil. Our agriculture businesses are
spread throughout the Township.  The farms and businesses engage in the most up to date technology.
As of the 2010 Census Newark Township has 1,083 citizens
Gratiot County Quilt Trail
In 2016 Gratiot County became host to 50 Quilt Squares placed on Barns, and Businesses., in the cities, villages and Townships. In a
mission to Promote Agri-Tourism the arts, local history and foster the connection between Rural and Urban Areas. These three
quilt squares can be seen in Newark Township.
